Even though they work hard to keep their relationship private, everyone knows that Lady Gaga and actor Taylor Kinney from "Chicago Fire" have been together for the past three years. Now with a photo of Taylor wearing a ring on his left hand, speculation is going wild that the two have taken their relationship to the next level.
The guessing game started at a fevered pitch after Kinney's co-star, Sophia Bush, posted a photo on her Instagram showing Taylor wearing a ring on that oh-so-important finger with the hashtags "#ChicagoFire #ChicagoPD #ThatsHisPersonalRing #NotForTheShow #EveryoneCalmDown #LindsayAndSeverideArentMarried." Since the two were hugging in the photo, it makes sense that she was probably trying to fend off any rumors that might start about either a. the two of them personally or b. where their characters were heading in the show.
However, since people know that he's been with Gaga since 2011, a whole different set of speculations started since 2 + 2 equals 4 and a ring on that finger usually means something more than "just dating."
CNN reported that The Daily Star claims that the two recently "gathered friends and family for a small ceremony pledging their devotion to each other" and that a wedding is in the works for next year.
As for Lady Gaga, she's not commenting on the ring nor the ceremony that may or may not have taken place. People Magazine, however, recently reported on how just much she loves Taylor and vice-versa. Citing an interview she did with the U.K.'s The Times, the mag said that the tears that Kinney sheds when she is onstage, "means more to me than anything." Taylor, the singer said, "Loves me from the inside out. And he is completely blind to the way that I dress, my creative process as it is – he knows me as the Italian-American girl my mother and father gave birth to."
Whether or not that love will translate into a wedding, babies and happily ever after remains to be seen but one can hope! They are a stunning couple!
