Keyshia Cole and K. Michelle are gearing up to hit the road together for the first time. K revealed the big news of the joint tour, which kicks off in January, in a tweet to Cole. The announcement comes on the heels of the release of a trailer for the "V.S.O.P." singer's new VH1 reality show My Life.
"Happy Birthday to the beautiful @keyshiacole. Can't wait to hit the road with u in Jan and give the ladies a REAL experience! Enjoy your day," K tweeted Wednesday.
Though the two R&B powerhouses have never collaborated, they seemingly have a few things in common. Both are mothers, have captivated fans with their songs of heartache and have starred on reality shows.
As noted by Vibe, Cole recently released her sixth studio album Point Of No Return and K is also preparing to release her sophomore effort.
Cole's Point of No Return features production from Mike WiLL Made-It, Stargate, Mario Winans, and RedOne as well as appearances from Wale, August Alsina, 2 Chainz, Future, Juicy J, and Gavyn Rhone.
K recently released her single "Love Em All" and VH1 just released a trailer for her Love And Hip-Hop spinoff.
In the trailer, the Memphis songstress strips bare for a photo shoot and runs around naked, kicks someone out of her house and gets mocked by her son.
K. Michelle: My Life premieres Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. on VH1.
Meanwhile, Cole has decided to revamp her reality tv days with a BET series. Cole's life was documented on previous series, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is and Keyshia & Daniel: Family First, which ran from 2006-08 and in 2012, respectively.
The project also remains unnamed and will air as six half-hour episodes. No official dates have been announced for the tour.
