Last month, Keyshia Cole made headlines when reports began to fly that the Point of No Return singer had attacked a woman in Birdman's condo. Well now word on web is Cole's assault victim has been granted a restraining order against the songstress.
According to TMZ, the woman, identified as Sabrina Mercadel, claims Cole punched her in the face, scratched her and threw objects at her. Mercadel also claims her finger was injured badly during the encounter.
The restraining order demands that Cole remain at least 100 yards away from Mercadel. She is also prohibited from contacting her.
Following Cole release from jail on $46,000 bail, it was revealed that Mercadel is an employee of Cash Money Records, which Cole's rumored boyfriend Birdman co-founded.
Mercadel and Birdman have reportedly known each other since they were young and she claims she was at his condo simply "visiting a friend" when Cole stormed in the wee hours.
Sources for TMZ say Mercadel and the hip-hop mogul weren't alone in his condo at the time of the attack. In fact, four others were present. Mercadel was reportedly walking out of the bathroom when Cole spotted her in the apartment and went on the attack, yelling, "What are you doing with my man!?"
She was taken to the ER and given pain meds while Cole was arrested. Neither Cole nor Birdman have spoken publicly about the incident.
Keyshia Cole is married to NBA star Daniel Gibson. The two have been married since 2011 and share a child, Daniel Jr. The couple has reportedly been separated since March following allegations of infidelity on Gibson's end.
