Kanye West broke the hearts of many a hip-hop fan when he opted not to tour in support of 2010's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," simply one of the best hip-hop albums in history. He toured with Jay Z in support of "Watch The Throne," but not the same thing. He won't hold out on fans for "Yeezus" however. It's been officially announced that West will embark on a 23-date trek beginning on October 19 in Seattle, and wrap the tour up on December 7 in Houston.
Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the opening act at most of the shows, but another yet-unannounced performer will warm up the stage for West during a handful of dates.
The promotional poster supporting the tour (seen above) is styled like a movie poster, with a "Donda Surround" logo imitating the normal "Dolby Surround" icon at the bottom. West appears to be ascending to the sky. The text at the top of the poster simply says "Yeezus," with typography that either suggests vampire fangs or the Metallica typeface.
