In a not-surprising move, Miley Cyrus takes it all off for the new Terry Richardson-directed video "Wrecking Ball." The song is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey's "Summer Time Saddness" as Cyrus sings in a sultry voice over synthesizers.
The video begins with an up-close shot of her singing with tears rolling down her cheeks. Then we see her bra-less in a white tank top, white underwear and combat boots. She is walking around a concrete room with a sledgehammer in hand. She seductively licks the hammer, and then we see her swinging naked on a wrecking ball.
"Wrecking Ball" will be featured on Cyrus' upcoming album "Bangerz," which is scheduled to drop Oct. 8.
In other Miley news, it was announced that she would be hosting and performing on an episode of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 5, three days before her album's release. It will be her second time as a host and first time as musical guest. With so much buzz surrounding her right now, this episode will surely be great for ratings. Maybe she'll even address her VMA performance or "Wrecking Ball" video on the show through some sort of parody. We will just have to wait and see.
