Jennifer Lopez is finalizing a deal for a residency in Vegas, and according to a contract obtained by TMZ, she'll be making more money per show than Britney Spears. The deal with The Axis inside Planet Hollywood is reportedly worth $26,383,326, meaning Lopez would make $350,000 a show.
Spears also plays the Axis but makes about $310,00 a show (though she will ultimately make more because she is doing more shows), the celebrity gossip site reported.
Lopez would reportedly perform 72 shows at three shows per week over the course of 24 weeks out of the year, spread over one to two years. The negotiations are in their final stages, and Lopez is expected to sign the deal.
However, neither Spears nor Lopez compare to Celine Dion, who does 70 shows a year with a deal worth $33,320,000. The Canadian singer began her Vegas residency in 2011 and performs 70 shows a year.
Lopez has been one of the most successful artists in the industry over the past two decades. According to Forbes, she made $37 million this past year.
Last month Lopez released the video to her Iggy Azalea-featuring track "Booty" off her latest album, A.K.A., which dropped back in June. Her eighth studio album, A.K.A. also features appearances by T.I., French Montana, Rick Ross, and Pitbull.
