Little Big Town had their Grand Ole Opry moment last week when the Alabama quartet was inducted into one of country music's most esteemed clubs.
Taste of Country reports that Little Jimmy Dickens and Vince Gill did the honors.
"The word 'family' really means something out here. It really does," Gill told Little Big Town on the Opry stage. "You'll make friends like I have with this man right here [Dickens]. You'll be so be blessed by the friends you'll make out here, and they'll last your entire life. Welcome to the family, and remember to come here as often as you can."
Per the report: They invited Gill back on stage to join them in one final song during the special night. They had Gill sing 'Why Me' with them, a song by Kris Kristofferson. It was obviously a crowd pleaser, as the crowd gave them a standing ovation at the end.

Paisley and Underwood will host the event for the seventh consecutive year.
It's tough to find another awards show with that much star power on the stage, an the trio of recently announced artists piled up an impressive trove of awards in the past couple years.
Little Big Town have come away winners twice, with a 2011 nod for Vocal Group of the Year and a 2012 nod for Single of the Year ("Pontoon"). They're up for the former award again this year.
