The Promise Welcomes a New Member

For the past year, Mandy Wing Foster has sang with The Promise as an understudy. Though she only took the stage with the group once, she was diligent about never missing a rehearsal and keeping a positive attitude. That all paid off when Tina McKinney Booth left earlier this month to start a new business (Tina’s Sound Booth) and form a new women's group. Debra Carter Peele, leader of the popular group, described Mandy as "a highly anointed singer and we are honored to have her join this ministry."

About Mandy:

Mandy Wing Foster, the daughter of Ron and Bunny Wing, was born in Daytona Beach, and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida along with her brother, Cameron. She majored in Music Education at The University of Florida, earning her degree in 2001. She and her husband, Eric, married in 2000 and now have two sons, Will and Ewan. In addition to teaching private voice and piano lessons for nearly ten years, Mandy has also written several Christian scripts that have been performed at McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida, and at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, North Carolina, where she and her family currently live. Mandy is also the author of two books - Remember Me, written for Broken Hearts Ministries, and Without Walls, written for Garden of Hope Ministries.

This talented lady has always loved to use the gifts, talents and opportunities the Lord has given her for His glory, and her passion is to "tell others about the love and saving grace of her Lord, Jesus Christ" through music and the creative arts. She says that she is "excited to embark on this new journey" that the Lord has put before her and "can't wait" to see what He does with The Promise Music Ministry.
