Not that we are surprised — it seems like recently the majority of highly anticipated albums have been leaked early — but Drake’s new album “Nothing Was the Same” was leaked more than a week ahead of its release date.
Twitter blew up last night, after the leak was announced, with comments on the tracks, especially the Jay-Z collaboration, “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2.”
Drake & Jay-z is a deadly combination. Damn! #PoundCake

Other tweets poked fun at the album:

Just like teens will use Drake lyrics in their Facebook statuses, Drake will use teens' Facebook statuses in his lyrics. — ItsTheReal (@itsthereal) September 16, 2013
Despite tracks being available now, some fans are choosing to stand behind Drake official release date.
NOT listening to @Drake's album leak. He's promoting September 24th too much, and is excited about that. I will wait like a true fan. — Alyssa Shouse (@ItsAlyssaShouse) September 16, 2013
The album is officially set to come out Sept. 24, but we will see if Drake pulls a Britney and moves the release date up. If you want to listen to the leaked album, check out the link below:
