Mariah Carey Approaches Fighting Kangaroos, Is Not Afraid of Death [WATCH]

Mariah Carey is not afraid of death.

This much was made clear early this morning when the singer posted a video on Instagram. In the clip, Carey — currently touring in Australia — is approaching a pack of fighting kangaroos despite the real possibility that they do not want her doing such a thing.

She even raised her elegantly gloved hand to ask if any 'roos needed a manager.

Did she survive? Barely. Check out the results here:

Yesterday, Nov. 3, Carey announced a quartet of Christmas shows in New York City.

"I can't imagine being anywhere more special than live on stage, in my hometown, celebrating with my fans during the Christmas season, my most treasured time of the year," Carey said in a release. "I can't wait!"

Here are the four dates:

12/15/14: New York, NY @ Beacon Theatre
12/16: New York, NY @ Beacon Theatre
12/18: New York, NY @ Beacon Theatre
12/20: New York, NY @ Beacon Theatre

Her official website offered a short description of what fans can expect: "Mariah will spread festive love and cheer on stage performing her timeless hits from her worldwide bestselling holiday albums Merry Christmas, which has sold over 14 million copies to date and is certified 5x platinum by the RIAA, and her critically acclaimed holiday follow-up, Merry Christmas II You."

It has been two decades since that first holiday album, and much has happened, including a troubled marriage with Nick Cannon. Divorce rumors have been flying, and Cannon recently addressed them.

"Man, I'm just taking everything one day at a time, and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day," he said.

Cannon was also dismissive of rumors surrounding his split from Carey, saying he still has a lot of love for his ex-wife and that they are in "constant contact."

"At the end of the day, the media likes to dictate especially when they don't have information they like to create stories, whether it's about her and I. I just wish her nothing but the best," he said. "We're in contact constantly, you know, you might have an off night here or there. But she's one of the greatest performers and entertainers of our time. She's not worried, we're not worried. We're just going to keep pushing."
