When Khloé Kardashian first broke up with French Montana last September, no one seemed to be too surprised. There were rumors he had been using her for fame and she never really seemed to have gotten over her marriage to Lamar Odom falling apart. When Kardashian started doing publicity for the new season of Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, all of a sudden there was a Montana love-fest, according to ABC News.
She could not praise him enough and in turn he also started talking up his continued love for Kardashian. By the time they were spotted together again at Kendall Jenner's birthday bash, it was almost predictable. Of course they were back together, right? It was all almost a little too perfect, though, wasn't it?
According to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian's reconciliation with Montana is completely for show and basically storyline-dictated to ensure she has something going on while filming the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
A source close to Kardashian explains that she had been having a blast since dumping Montana and was thoroughly enjoying the single life:
"But once filming began for the upcoming season of KUWTK, all of a sudden they were back together.
"Khloé's friends weren't happy because they feel that French is just using her for fame. But it was made very clear to Khloé's closest gal pals: This relationship, if it were to even be called that, is all for show. It won't last, and Khloé isn't saying they are in an exclusive relationship."
So basically the reality show that we already know is partially scripted for fans's benefit has now pushed Kardashian and Montana back together for the sake of keeping them somewhat relevant to the show. While Kardashian really does seem to care about Montana, it seems what they have is more of a good friendship than a real romance.
Will you tune in to the show now that it has been confirmed that at least one relationship that the producers want viewers to invest in is a total fraud?
