Lady Antebellum and Gavin DeGraw will bring in 2015 on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The "Need You Now" trio and "I Don't Want to Be" singer will perform in Nashville, with some of their show airing on the national broadcast alongside headliner Taylor Swift.
According to Taste of Country, Lady A and DeGraw will be performing at the Bash on Broadway in the Music City, an event that has been highlighted on the New Year's Eve show and continues to bring country music to the mainstream public.
"Being included in such an iconic music event like Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve further strengthens the Music City brand and Nashville as a destination," Nashville Mayor Karl Dean told The Hollywood Reporter. "We have seen the Jack Daniel's Bash on Broadway grow tremendously, and its inclusion on a national show is a natural extension of its growth and popularity. Lady A and Gavin DeGraw are great representatives of the music in our city, and we are excited to have them headline the night in Nashville."
"We're so looking forward to celebrating New Year's this year in our hometown," Hillary Scott of Lady A said in a statement. "It's such a magical time of year, so getting to be home with our friends, family and all of Nashville downtown on Broadway will be such a fun way to ring in 2015!"
The New Year's Eve staple will air Dec. 31 and feature 38 acts for more than five hours of music.
New Year's Rockin' Eve was first broadcast in 1973, and Clark was involved in every show until the 2005 edition when he had to sit out after suffering a stroke. He would return sporadically, but Seacrest took over the hosting duties as Clark had some speech problems stemming from the stroke. The beloved host last appeared on the 2012 show, dying the following April after suffering a heart attack.
Lady Antebellum's new album, 747, is out now.
