Decyfer Down Is Asking for Help

On August 27, 2013, after four years of no new music, Christian rockers Decyfer Down released their third album, a 10-track masterpiece called Scarecrow. With a more in-your-face rock sound than ever before, the band showed fans that they have grown and matured by going back to their rock roots without the post-grunge trappings that made End of Grey and Crash so popular. Risky move? Yes, but they made it work in a big way. While some reviewers bemoaned the lost of the old sound, others embraced it with glowing reviews.

One of the songs on the new album, a tune called "Westboro," is what the band is asking for help with. They are in the process of creating the official lyrics video for the song. Fans can help out by putting some of the lyrics (from a word to an entire phrase) on picket signs and taking pictures of them. Once you get photos you're happy with, you email them to the band at decyferdownvideo@gmail.com. The cut-off is September 30th, so you'll have to act fast if you want to help the band, have your handiwork show up in a music video and stand up against the hate-filled Westboro Baptist Church.
