What We Learned From #AskMacca Twitter Q&A with Paul McCartney

To hype up the release of his upcoming album New, Paul McCartney took to Twitter to answer fan questions. Using the hashtag #AskMacca, fans could ask McCartney whatever queries they had in hopes that he would respond. He answered questions about the name of the album, who he'd like to perform a duet with and more. The session ended with a signed CD give away to @dollybird1963 who submitted the first question. In one of his final message, McCartney tweeted that he hoped to answer more questions in the coming days.

What does he think about attracting a large teenage audience?

When was the last time he laughed uncontrollably?

Thanks @4flapjacks The last time I laughed uncontrollably was yesterday at the video shoot for 'Queenie Eye'!

Cheers @magicalmysterys There was a rumor about a year ago that @bobdylan & I might work together but we haven't picked up on it

What was the inspiration behind the album art?

Thanks @WiressBeetee At meeting about the album covers someone came up with the logo, another said you could treat it in style of Dan Flavin

What are his favorite songs off the upcoming album?

Cheers @allen_sosa I like 'Early Day's and the hidden track which is called 'Scared', But I like them all.

Why did you call the new album 'New'?

Thanks@dollybird1963 I was playing around with more poetic titles but NEW was a simple world and the name of a song on the album
