Prince to Play Concert at His Paisley Park Studios Complex on Saturday

Prince fans have a chance to see the guitarist and genre-encompassing extraordinaire in his natural habitat on Saturday. The Purple Rain star will open his famous Paisley Park Studios, outside of his hometown of Minneapolis, to fans for a limited capacity concert.

There are some stipulations of course. A $50 donation is required at the door (no word on what cause the donation will go toward), and no cameras, recording devices or cell phones will be allowed. And, as mentioned before, there will be limited space available, so if you're not camped out already, you may be out of luck. The event doesn't actually get you into the R&B superstar's personal home, but Paisley Park is a renowned piece of Prince lore. The performer has recorded nearly all of his albums since 1987 (the year it was built) in his backyard.

Prince will be joined by both his current band 3rdEyeGirl, and former band New Power Generation. The headliner, unsurprisingly, didn't give any statements on the event, but Hannah Ford, the drummer for 3rdEyeGirl, said that the musical collective wanted to do something for the Minneapolis community.

"We really just wanted to open up Paisley to the public and invite Minnesota and anybody else who can make it out," she said. "This one is moreso like a spur-of-the-moment event to spend time with our community and throw a big concert for everybody and show off some of the stuff we're working on."

Prince hasn't exactly been a recluse. He played eight cities in North America earlier during 2013. This concert will be an experience for any Prince fan however.
