Christian Musician Summit Nashville Kicks Off

Today, the Christian Musician Summit Nashville kicks off in the music city. Held in order to help worship leaders, musicians, technicians, pastors, songwriters, and independent artists go farther with their ministries, this will be the second year CMS has been in Nashville. Workshops and performances by top artists like Benji Cowart, Brenton Brown, Ian Eskelin, Jimmy Abegg, Matt Maher and Sarah MacIntosh are scheduled. Top notch clinicians and industry insiders like Adam Nitti (bassist, composer and producer), Ben Showalter (drummer), Chance Scoggins (award winning producer, songwriter), Cindy Witt Colville (music publisher, songwriting consultant), Daniel Ornellas (bassist), Don Poythress (songwriter), Eric Copeland (producer, composer, artist, author), Keith Mohr (Founder and President of Indieheaven.com), Matt McCoy (singer, songwriter, worship leader), Mike Overlin (worship leader, Manager of Worship Resources for Yamaha, photographer), Scotty Murray (guitarist), Sue Ross-Mohr (mentor/consultant), Tom Brooks (producer, arranger, engineer, keyboardits), Tom Lane (Worship Pastor, writer and musician), and Zoro (drummer and author) will be sharing their vast array of knowledge.

Last year, the conference was streamed to those who couldn't make it to Nashville by subscription. CMS has announced that the 2013 Nashville conference will not be streamed.
