Katy Perry is probably one of the five most famous pop stars in the world, so it's understandable that the paparazzi are constantly after her, no matter where she is. But it sounds like the Australian paps took things a bit too far on Friday, as Perry felt the need to post the following social media message to the world:
Australian PRESS: you should be ashamed of your paparazzi & tabloid culture. Your paparazzi had no respect, no integrity, no character. NO HUMANITY. I was stalked by many grown men today as I tried to take a quiet walk to the beach. These men would not stop as I pleaded over & over to let me have my space. Many other people stopped to try to help but the paps continued to laugh at me & hold their barrels up & shoot. They told me to make a "deal" with them. Give them a bathing suit shot and they would leave me be. This is PERVERTED & disgusting behavior that should NEVER be tolerated, especially by people who do NOT want this. I will NEVER make a deal with paparazzi and I will not befriend anyone who perpetuates this kind of behavior.
She also took pictures of the offenders and posted them to social media:
This follows an unflattering clip of Iggy Azalea berating paparazzo outside of a convenience store last month.
"Maybe I've got AIDS now," the man said after Azalea's accomplice spat on him. "Maybe I've got ebola."
Azalea quickly shot back: "I hope you have ebola. I hope you die. You're a f---ing c---," and then proceeded to shove her shopping cart at one of his accomplices.
