Regina Spektor Debuts Two New Songs During Doctors Without Borders Benefit Show [WATCH]

Regina Spektor debuted two brand new songs during a benefit concert in New York for Doctors Without Borders. As Gigwise points out, she played a piano-driven ballad reportedly titled "Stay" as well as a folksy song on acoustic guitar with her husband Jack Dishel called "Party Upstairs," which they performed together for the first time.

"There's a party upstairs, and you can go if you want to," Spektor and her husband sang together on their duet. "Where everybody knows what to do, what not to say / Just how to move to make you stay / And if you do it, too, you can fade away / And disappear on a giant wave / And every person on the street is someone that you want to meet. I'm never going home again / There's nothing there for me."

Spektor called Doctors Without Borders "a wonderful organization that we have worked with in the past." Proceeds from the event went toward buying medical supplies for and treating patients of the Ebola crisis.

Spektor has been fairly quiet — save the theme song ("You've Got Time") she wrote for Netflix's Orange Is The New Black — since the release of her 2012 effort What We Saw From the Cheap Seats. Incase you're curious what he's been up to, the singer just gave birth to her first child earlier this month and shared the news on Facebook.

"I wanted to let you know that Jack and I have been happily hanging out with our new little son and that all is going great! Thank you for the tons of well wishes and good vibes — we wish them all right back at ya. As you may have noticed, we're pretty private, so we won't be posting any pictures or updates about him. But we can report that he's super CUTE!!!"

No word yet on whether these new tracks mean a new album is on the way. But we'll update you as more information becomes available. For now, check out fan footage of the performances, and let us know what you think in the comments section!
