In a surprising move, the University of Nebraska fired head football coach Bo Pelini on Sunday morning, one day after he led the Cornhuskers to their ninth victory of the season. His players were less than pleased, and let the world know via social media.
Athletic director Shawn Eichorst was the one who pulled the trigger and he sent out the following e-mail to players notifying them of the decision:
