Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott and Da Brat reunited at the Soul Train Awards last month for a performance of their 1997 collaboration "Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)." The show aired last night, Nov. 30, and the crowd was loving every minute of it. Eric Benet sang the intro while Total, MC Lyte, The Lady of Rage and Yo-Yo all joined in on the fun. The performance even included the Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes verse via a screen playing the music video.
The audience erupted when Lil' Kim strutted onstage in the video below. She kicked off the wild song, eventually getting into her Shmoney Dance, MTV News noted. Left Eye's verse followed before Da Brat came out with some furious energy.
Missy Elliott closed out the track and thanked everyone for their support:
"Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)" was included on the soundtrack for Nothing to Lose. It peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, No. 3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and No. 1 on the Rap Songs Chart. The song samples Kool & the Gang's 1979 hit "Ladies' Night."
Chris Brown won big at the annual awards show, taking home Best Hip-Hop Song, Best Dance Performance and Best Collaboration for "Loyal" featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga. Pharrell Williams won Song of the Year and Video of the Year for "Happy."
Beyoncé won Album of the Year for her self-titled release and also pulled in Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. Trey Songz took home Best R&B/Soul Male Artist.
