Action Bronson and Danny Brown have teamed up on a new song for the re-released Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack titled "Bad News." The new soundtrack will be released on December 9 via Mass Appeal/Rockstar. Even at just 2 minutes and 28 seconds, Danny Brown and Action Bronson have a blast rapping in "Bad News", keeping with the theme of violence and dominating your opponents, flowing effortlessly over a haunting production.
Danny starts "Bad News" menacingly rapping,
Murder, death, kill pull a one 87
If you ain't gon' give it motherf--ker I'ma take it
Boy I'll turn ya' to a raisin
Just to bring home the bacon
For me to see heaven I would need to meet Satan
So my heart so vacant
The song was originally leaked online after someone recorded the song during gameplay. They were so blown away by the track they crashed their car into a tree, sacrificing themselves in the game just to record the track and upload to the internet for the world to hear. The song's producer The Chemist shortly thereafter uploaded the official audio to his soundcloud so fans don't have to listen to a second hand recording.
The new soundtrack will feature a whopping new 162 tracks across 17 different radio stations (via Pitchfork). Users will be able to drive around for hours and never get tired of hearing the music in gameplay.
The GTA V series is known for having exclusive music tracks, but this time with the new expanded soundtrack they may have outdone themselves. Among the 162 new tracks being added to the soundtrack include contributions from A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Twin Shadow, Flying Lotus, Wavves and Yeasayer, in addition to "Bad News", which you can stream below.
The soundtrack will be available in the Mass Appeal shop as a limited edition 6 LP vinyl box set with a poster and color booklet.
