'Peter Pan Live!' Ratings Down 50 Percent from 'The Sound of Music': Miss the Show? Watch Highlights Here!

Last night (Dec. 4), for the second year in a row NBC aired its live musical theatre event. To follow-up The Sound of Music, the network tapped GIRLS star Allison Williams and Christopher Walken for a production of Peter Pan Live! The show dominated social media and the ratings last night, so those who may have missed the broadcast may be feeling a little left out around the water cooler.

Fear not, Music Times has got you covered.

Following the live broadcast of Peter Pan Live!, NBC posted the musical highlights from the show to get you updated on all the flying, swashbuckling, tap dancing and wonderment.

If you did happen to miss Peter Pan Live!, worry not, you weren't the only one. The ratings are out, and while the musical was a success for its network, it didn't quite live up to the numbers from The Sound of Music.

According to E! Online, 9.1 million viewers tuned in to watch Peter Pan Live!, down 50 percent from last year's musical event. Despite the drastic reduction in ratings, NBC seems undeterred.

""We didn't expect to reach the same rating as The Sound of Music since that was the first live movie event of its kind in over 50 years," NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt said."But the high wire act of Peter Pan was a joy for everyone involved and I take my hat off to Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, the entire company, and our incredible directors and producers for three months of the hardest work I've ever seen. I love these live events and we're already working on putting the next one together."
