Dr. Luke Is Suing Kesha's Lawyer for Defamation After Implying the Producer Raped Lady Gaga

Gottwald and his legal team want Geragos to pay for tweets that implied the producer had something to do with Gaga's sexual assault. The tweets have been deleted, but RS explains that when Geragos asked his followers to guess who raped Gaga, someone responded "Lukasz," which the lawyer retweeted, adding "#bingo." Geragos also told TMZ, "I said it because it's true."

"Through the publication of these 'tweets,' [Geragos] unambiguously and crassly asserted that [Dr. Luke] was the 'rapist' who sexually assaulted Lady Gaga," Gottwald's summons reads.

The summons also denies Gottwald having met Gaga around the time of the incident, and it claims he was never alone with her. The "Born This Way" singer's camp released a statement addressing the accusations.

"This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha/Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible," spokesperson told RS. "This simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter."

Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke back in October, alleging the producer abused her sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally over the past decade. Her mother also filed suit. Dr. Luke countered with defamation suits soon after. Those cases are ongoing.
