Lady Gaga's new song "Venus" off the upcoming ARTPOP hit the web this weekend. The four-minute track sounds like a robot with a fake British accent blasting in to space dressed as a mermaid, engaging in an extra-terrestrial love affair.
On her intergalactic adventure Gaga sings, "Have an oyster, baby / It's Aphrod-isy / Act sleazy / Venus / Worship to the land / A girl from the planet / To the planet."
Included in the audio for the song is an image of Gaga painted in metallic with a scorpion resting on her face and neon lights reflecting off her skin.
The new single comes after last week's release of "Do What U Want," featuring R. Kelly. Mother Monster debuted "Venus" live at the G-A-Y nightclub in London. She also revealed a live version of the song "Gypsy" in Berlin last week.
ARTPOP is scheduled for release Nov. 8 via Interscope Records. It is the pop star's third album, the follow up to 2011's Born This Way.
