50 Cent : multiple business ventures
"I just did a deal for $78 million for underwear. What did you muthaf*ckas do today? Lllllllllooooolllllllllll #Boom #FRIGO," he wrote, XXL notes.
Jeter, Timbaland and Anthony are all part owners while 50 seems to be classified as an investor. Either way, Frigo has some top-notch spokespeople to utilize.
50 dropped his fifth studio effort, Animal Ambition, in June. It peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 behind singles like "Smoke," "Pilot" and "Hold On." His follow-up, Street King Immortal, is due out in 2015.
His rap group, G-Unit, also recently reunited. The rapper talked about that process with Rolling Stone in October.
"My interest wasn't there for a while," he said. "It took for Yayo to say things publicly to me that I didn't understand [at the time] for me to reevaluate everything. I did so much for them that he didn't have reasoning for it. It's not that I have a problem with them, but I know, when I assess everything that's happened overall in my life, some people have developed unbelievable senses of entitlement."
The rapper talked about the underwear, which sell for $100 per pair, on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night (Dec. 15).
