Following the new Saturday Night Live trend of working double-duty (Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus), Lady Gaga will be both the host and musical guest on the Nov. 16 episode of SNL. According to Billboard, this will be the pop star's third appearance on the show.
Her SNL show comes less than a week after her highly anticipated new album ARTPOP is released. In her previous appearances, she participated in a digital short as herself with Justin Timberlake and had a fake catfight with Madonna. It remains to be seen what she has planned for the show this time around.
This weekend's musical guest on the show is Eminem with host Kerry Washington. Following Gaga's show is musical guest Haim, who will play songs off their latest album, Days Are Gone with host Josh Hutcherson of the Hunger Games.
ARTPOP is due out Nov. 8 via Interscope Records. It is her third album, the follow up to 2011's Born This Way. So far, she was unveiled the tracks, "Venus," "Do What U Want [feat. R. Kelly]," "Aura," and "Applause."
