Details are still sparse on the release of Lea Michele's debut solo album, but the actress/vocalist revealed that yes, there will be a track commemorating her relationship with actor Cory Monteith. The actor wear found dead of a drug overdose in July.
"The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't,'" she told Elle magazine.
The song, "You're Mine," was recorded prior to Monteith's death, but according to the actress held a special meaning for the couple, so she included it on the album.
"It makes me so happy, this song," she says. "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this."
That's really cute, and Music Times really can't wait to check out the track, but we need to know when the album comes out! As she subtly suggested to Elle, all of the tracks are done. However there hasn't been a release date given, or even suggested yet. We also know that the album art is probably complete, as she posted pictures of the photo shoot on Twitter.
We may not know when the album will drop, but we've heard rumors of what might come next for her as an actress, once Glee ends its six season run. The rumors suggest that her character Rachel will get a spinoff, however FOX denied it. They did hint however that character Kurt may get a spinoff...in Russia.
