New Year's Eve: Deadmau5, Hardwell, and Zedd have plans. Will you be near?

It's a little early, but those on top of the game are already planning for New Year's Eve. The night is especially huge for EDM fans, as the world's top DJs usually find a swinging party to settle down for. Deadmau5 just announced where he'll be (see below), but many of the biggest names still haven't told the world their plans, or whether you'll be able to join them. For now, check out what five big names are doing, and whether you're close enough geography-wise to join them.

Deadmau5

The most recognizable face (or mask) in EDM is returning to New York City for New Year's Eve 2013...kind of. The DJ will be performing at Nassau Coliseum, which is actually about an hour train ride out on Long Island. Access is relatively simple by the LIRR, but just an advance warning. Tickets go on sale Thursday at noon.

Hardwell

As Deadmau5 will be in NYC, the newly crowned top DJ in the world (by DJmag.com) Hardwell will be performing in the former's homeland of Canada. He'll begin the day with a gig in Calgary, before (we assume) flying to Vancouver and ringing in the new year at Pacific Coliseum.

Kaskade

Few cities celebrate the new year as lasciviously as Las Vegas, and partiers will have the chance to celebrate alongside America's Best DJ (according to DJ Times). The house-spinner will play the XS Nightclub on a night sure to be full of excess.

The Prodigy

People in Europe like to celebrate the new year too, guys. One of many shows going down in London will be The Prodigy's gig at the O2 Arena. It's the band's first solo headlining show in a while, and they picked a good night for it.

Zedd

New York City, Miami and Los Angeles get more credit for being EDM epicenters than their fellow metropolis, Chicago. German house producer Zedd will make sure the Windy City gets its fair share of dance on New Year's Eve, playing at the Aragon Ballroom.
