It seems like everyone has something to say regarding Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, hip-hop and race relations in the United States. After a weekend where everyone from Q-Tip to T.I. weighed in on the controversies surrounding the "Beg For It" rapper, one more emcee has decided to chime in: "Gucci Gucci" rapper (and fellow white girl) Kreayshawn.
In a post on her Twitter account (where she's currently writing under the name "SANTA'S LIL BAE"), Kreayshawn thought that Azalea should get involved in the racial politics of her home country, Australia, if she's doesn't feel it's her place to talk about the tensions in the U.S.
"IF IGGY FEELS SHE SHOULDNT HAVE A "SAY" IN AMERICAS RACSIM SHE SHOULD ATLEAST TALK ABOUT THE OBSCENE AMOUNT OF RACISM IN AUSTRALIA," she wrote. "I MEAN EVEN AS AN AMERICAN I AM AWARE OF AUSTRALIA'S RACE PROBLEMS AND I CANT EVEN SPELL THE DAMN COUNTRIES NAME LOL!"
Though she's not clear about the issues Australia is facing, Kreayshawn had just another message: be compassionate and educated about the world around you, something folks have been telling Azalea for weeks now.
Once again, for her part, Azalea has largely been quiet on Twitter in recent days. She last wrote on Dec. 20, promoting her upcoming 2015 tour with Nick Jonas and Tinashe.
