Caroline Manzo's Return to 'RHONJ' Hasn't Been Confirmed, But She Already Has an Issue with Amber Marchese

The future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is not certain, as Teresa Giudice, one of the main stars, is getting ready to serve a 15-month prison sentence. There have been rumors that former cast member and fan favorite Caroline Manzo may return in the interim. Apparently, Bravo execs realize that they need a heavy hitter if they want to do another season because the current cast lineup is not exactly going to grab viewers. If Manzo decides to return, it looks like she already has a bone to pick with Amber Marchese.

It was recently confirmed that Caroline had finally reconciled with her sister, Dina Manzo, who is also a RHONJ cast member. Dina and Marchese have had some major issues in recent months, so it was more than a little coincidental when, upon meeting Marchese, Caroline was ice-cold. According to a source for Radar Online, there is a pretty decent chance that Caroline's behavior was intended as a display of support for her sister.

"Dina had issues with Amber this past season both on and off the show, so it's possible now that Dina reconciled with Caroline that Caroline has something against Amber. Furthermore, Dina has been known to try to make alliances on the show. Dina is a complete opportunist, and it seems likely she reconciled with her family only to have an alliance and some protection against people she doesn't get along with, like Amber," says the source.

If both Manzo sisters now have beef with Marchese, that sounds like a potentially decent reason for Bravo to green light another season even without Giudice, doesn't it? Do you think the show will begin filming again soon if Caroline decides to sign on the dotted line, or will the network opt to keep it on ice until it can have Giudice back in the mix?
