Remember those two little British girls who sang Nick Minaj's "Super Bass" on Ellen? Well the one that you thought might actually have a shot at a music career, Sophia Grace, is back with a new music video (minus Rosie).
Titled "Best Friends," Sophia Grace raps over what sounds like a DJ Mustard rip-off beat. However, it's a pretty catchy song, and the 11-year-old's rap skills aren't half bad. The lyrics are empowering, and she isn't being sexualized in the clip, so we'll give it our stamp of approval for your kid's next club-themed birthday party.
The video also doubles as an ad for the Beats Pill and her and Rosie's Kmart clothing line for girls.
"I'm your number one girl, I'm your best friend, and I'll always be there right 'til the end," she raps in the toy aisle of Kmart with her friends dancing behind her. "Sophia Grace got your back, just know that, and that's the reason why I'm rapping on this hot track. I'll take you to the top. I'm never gonna stop. 11 years old, that's just how I rock. So if you are my best friend put hands up, now put your hands up!"
She goes on to talk about girl power and declares that "we don't want no boys in here."
For those who have been criticizing Iggy Azalea's use of cultural appropriation in her music, the fact that "Best Friends" was the No. 3 on Billboard's Trending 140 earlier today will surely add fuel to the fire of white women getting famous off rap music.
If, on the other hand, you're a big fan of the song, you can check out her behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.
Sophia Grace released her first pink-tinged, girl-power single "Girls Just Gotta Have Fun" back in 2013.
