Chris Brown Party in San Jose Ends in Gunfire with 5 People Shot [WATCH]

As reported, last night. Jan. 10, saw quite the chaos at an event that R&B singer Chris Brown was hosting.

Five people were shot and wounded early Sunday morning, Jan. 11, near a crowded nightclub in San Jose, California. According to the police, the gunfire was reported around 1:20 a.m. and officers found four victims injured at the scene and rushed them to the hospital, with another victim walking into a local hospital's emergency room following the situation.

Police reported that while the exact conditions of the victims are not immediately available, all are expected to survive the incident.

Chris Brown was not injured and posted on Twitter saying, "I'm 100." The tweet has since been deleted.

It was also reported that several people were detained following the situation outside the nightclub, but details are still yet to be released. It is still uncertain if any arrests were made.

Brown was at the nightclub hosting an event as part of a VIP birthday event, with local DJs Big Von and Black Marc as advertised for being the providers of entertainment for the evening. It was also reported that tickets to this event began at $50 and went as high as $2,500.

Videos and audio of the evening were posted on several places throughout social media outlets from attendees and featured gun shots going off, followed by the crowd scrambling.

As reported, last night's events were not the first time a violent situation has broken out at a scene where Chris Brown was in a club. Last August, Suge Knight was one person who was shot at a party that Chris Brown was hosting in Hollywood. It could be a coincidence, but Chris Brown's past seems to be haunting him.

Chris Brown still has quite the loyal fan base despite a long history of violent incidents in the past, most notably the domestic violence case with singer Rihanna in 2009.
