Festival season is one of the greatest times of the year for a music fan. Artists are constantly touring and making stops at a city near you, with festivals bringing together massive pools of talent into one place to make it easy to try and see as many of your favorite acts at once. Being outdoors in the sun and nice weather makes things more pleasant with friends and a cold beer makes things more enjoyable. But it is not always so easy-breezy. Festivals can be overcrowded, hot or rainy and awful scheduling conflicts can make seeing the two acts you had to see impossible. CollegeHumor summed up that sentiment perfectly in a video describing the struggle festivalgoers can face when attending a festival and trying to get past security, dealing with hours of unnecessary traffic and paying for overpriced food and drinks. With more sprouting up, some may try and be more accomodating with pricing and logistics, but, alas, many do not and festivals will never be able to control the weather, no matter how tongue and cheek one is about it.
