Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper was released last week on Jan. 9 through Domino Records and was preceded by two singles: "Mr. Noah" and "Boys Latin." It is Panda Bear's fourth solo studio album overall, his first since 2011's Tomboy. It is also Panda Bear's first full-length release since Animal Collective's 2012 album Centipede Hz.
"I made a whole bunch of pieces," Panda Bear told Rolling Stone about the recording process behind his new album. "I made them in lots of different places and the ones that were most memorable, the ones I kept going back to and tweaking out, those were the ones I made songs of."
