Blake Shelton: 'Boys 'Round Here' Artist Part of New Charity 'Our Bravest,' Donations Needed for Disabled Veterans

The website is named ourbravest.org, and their goal: To allow the United States to build houses that will allow critically injured service men and women to feel at home.

Blake Shelton is a part of this organization and he says he couldn't be more proud to be a part of it. The idea is to build homes that would be suitable for those who have served in the military and now are living with some kind of impairment because of their service. The organization has a statement on their website which reads as follows, we didn't write any of this, it comes straight off the website:

Thanks for your interest in the Building For America's Bravest program and your help in the building of Smart Homes for our most catastrophically injured service members returning home. Together, we can help our most severely injured heroes, like Rusty Dunagan of Guthrie, OK and Christian Brown of Munford, TN live better, more independent lives.

These heroes made extraordinary sacrifices in our place. Please help give them a home they can come home to. Your donation will make a real difference in a service hero's life.

The website also makes it easy to make donations, which they need if they are going to build these houses. Be sure to hop over there and give to the charity if you are feeling philanthropic.

Blake Shelton says he is honored to be a part of this organization, and is encouraging everyone who can to make a donation to the cause. When you do, you will know what it feels like to have helped build a home for a hero.
