Jonas Brothers release five final songs following break up: 'Wedding Bells,' 'Neon,' 'Found' and more get production-heavy makeover in studio versions [LISTEN]

It's been almost a month since the Jonas Brothers have announced their break up and it's been nearly two months since they suddenly scrapped their fall tour date plans. Shortly after the "First Time" band's split, the JoBros announced their planned album V would never see release. However, to thank their fans for the years of support, the Jonases have released five songs that would have made the album to their Team Jonas fanbase today.

Today studio versions of live favorites "What Do I Mean To You," "Wedding Bells," "The World," "Neon" and "Found" were released to Jonas fan club members, and then soon surfaced on YouTube. Fans also received a 10-song live EP.

"What Do I Mean To You," which took on a hard rock vibe at the Jonases' summer tour dates got an EDM-filled makeover for the studio version, which actually make it work better both for the JoBros' pop fan base and in the modern music landscape.

Unfortunately, the other tracks actual studio versions of the track lack the punch from their live version. "Wedding Bells" got a keyboard heavy redoing, which softens the heartbreaking track in the incorrect ways.

"The World" got a similar production-heavy treatment, as did "Found" and "Neon."

From these samplings, it's easy to see how the Jonas Brothers weren't sure of where to go in their career. Mixed with their final official singles "First Time" and "Pom Poms," these songs span all sorts of musical territory, joined only by the twinkling keyboards and Nick Jonas' production-heavy hand.

The Jonas Brothers announced they broke up back in October after eight years together as a band. They cited creative differences and not being able to focus on their family relationship for the reason for the break up.
