One of our 2015 artists to watch, UK synth pop trio, Years & Years have released the music video for their upcoming single "King." Unveiled ahead of its upcoming march 1st release date, "King" shows the maturation of a group growing into the spotlight that is shining brighter on them every day. As premiered by Buzzfeed, "King" has all of the synth-pop lushness one would expect from the "Desire" trio, coupled with superb songwriting all brought to life in a well-choreographed video done by Sia choreographer Ryan Heffington.
2015 is set up to be a big year for Years & Years. They kicked off the 2015 campaign by being named BBCs Sound of 2015, a coveted honor that generally is indicative of immediate success, with past winners like Adele, Ellie Goulding, 50 Cent and Sam Smith in 2014 leading the way.
In case you need any more reason to check out the video or go and see them live, Ellie Goudling has been showing them love, they were the support act for Sam Smith on tour in the United States and Aaron Paul just showed love to the music video.
You can sign up for the Years & Years mailing list and receive their singles "Take Shelter" and "Memo" for free. Check out the trio's upcoming tour dates below, which includes one at Le Poisson Rouge, a rare opportunity to see them in a small room and then gigs in the UK.
