Chasing Yesterday is set for release on March 2 through Sour Mash Records and will be Noel Gallagher's second album with High Flying Birds, following their 2011 self-titled debut. Two singles have been released from Chasing Yesterday so far: "In the Heat of the Moment" and "Ballad of the Mighty I" featuring former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
"I tried to get him to play on the last album," Gallagher told The Guardian about working with Marr (one of his musical heroes), "but it never happened...He's way up there, on another level to the rest of us. The result is a burst of energy that helped make 'Mighty I' one of the best songs I've ever written.
