Blake Shelton: upcoming host/musical guest gig on Saturday Night Live
Shelton doesn't really dig the game in the video below because there's no competitive aspect to it.
"You win something? It's a contest? There's like keeping points or something?" Shelton asks the host. "It's just something stupid we're doing or you keep score?"
"It's just fun. Everyone's having a good time," Fallon responds before breaking into a Shelton impression that the singer doesn't hear thanks to the headphones.
Fallon mouths "pumpkin spice latte" to Shelton, which to him translates to "my pee-pee's stretched out." Not quite. When Shelton grabs his first card, he looks puzzled and wonders if he's even going to be able to pronounce it. Fallon is able to make out "Benedict Cumberbatch" before Shelton explains his confusion.
"That doesn't even mean anything," he says, throwing the card at the floor. Fallon points out that the actor is actually nominated for an Oscar this year. Check out the entire game below.
Shelton will be the 12th host of the 40th season of SNL. He follows the likes of Chris Pratt, Jim Carrey and James Franco. Other musical guests from this season have included Hozier, Prince and One Direction. Whiplash star J.K. Simmons will host next week's episode with D'Angelo scheduled to perform.
The country singer will return to the small screen in February when he looks to defend his crown on The Voice. The coach won the competition with Craig Wayne Boyd last year, bringing his total victory tally to four.
