'Tis the season for end-of-year lists. Surely for those following music, Lorde is probably featured on at least a few of those lists. Now the New Zealand pop star, who has owned the Billboard charts with her rise to fame this year, has released her Best of 2013 list (via Australian radio station triple j).
Her list features two songs off Daft Punk Random Access Memories, Drake's Nothing Was the Same smash "Hold On, We're Going Home," Kanye West's Yeezus track "Hold My Liquor" which Consequence of Sound points out is a song the pop star herself is known to cover live. She also is digging Mercury Prize winner James Blake among others.
