Ariana Grande, Robin Thicke, Jennifer Hudson and more playing ABC's West Coast New Year's Eve bash

Kudos have to be given to ABC for keeping their New Year's Eve performance lineups secret as long as they do. It's less than three week until the big show at Times Square in New York City, and nothing has leaked yet. However, viewers on the West Coast now have access to a decent chunk of their own lineup for the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2014.

The most recent additions were pop star Ariana Grande, pop rockers Capital Cities, rockers Daughtry, as well as The Fray.

Those acts will be joining the previously announced acts, which include Robin Thicke, Enrique Iglesias, Jason DeRulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line and Jennifer Hudson. Sounds pretty loaded. We're curious what the network's got in store for the East Coast celebration.

We have a few hunches who you might expect based on last year's lineup.

-Last year there was Taylor Swift, representing the huge pop star. At this point, Lady Gaga has nothing planned around the turn of the year, and she lives in New York City anyhow. That's where our money's at.

-Last year there was Psy, representing the viral phenomenon. We couldn't find a schedule for these guys, but Ylvis is the obvious choice based on that logic. YouTube just named the duo's "The Fox" the top trending video of 2013.

-Last year there was MC Hammer, representing the...old-school hip-hop star(?). We'll go out on a limb and predict Big Daddy Kane fills the role this year. He's shown up at the World Spin Hip Hop Awards, and jammed recently with The Roots, why not New Year's Eve? Fewer parents will know what's going on, but who cares?
