Yolanda Foster's ongoing battle with Lyme disease has been one of the most real stories told on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and things seem to be getting worse instead of better. We know she suffered a serious relapse in December and has admitted that she has now had difficulty thinking and processing information. It has made writing and watching television difficult, but the reality star is committed to finding a cure for herself and others. She recently returned from a trip overseas to try some experimental treatments and, as always, Foster has carried herself with grace. Producers are concerned, though, because the RHOBH reunion show taping is soon and they know she will need to participate on a limited basis despite her neurological problems.
According to a report by Radar Online, Bravo would likely let her skip the reunion, but she wants to take part.
"Yolanda does want to do it because she is always so professional about work commitments. The main issue with Yolanda's health is the constant fatigue, and serious memory issues. Recently, Yolanda has had trouble just forming sentences, and sometimes can't clearly articulate what she is trying to say. Being on the reunion will help raise awareness for Lyme disease, and she is determined to find a cure," said the source.
Foster has not been alone in this battle for her health. Just recently, her husband David Foster spoke out about her current condition and referred to her as a "warrior." Her children have remained the most important part of her life, and her social media remains loaded with photos of the family together.
Foster will likely appear on the reunion, but maybe the real question is whether or not she will return to RHOBH for another season. It would be a real shame if she decides that she cannot because viewers seem to have a real love and respect for perhaps the only woman in the mix who keeps it real.
Do you think Foster's illness will ultimately take her away from the show? Would you be disappointed to see her go? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
