Juicy J has unveiled the cover art and release for his upcoming mixtape with DJ Scream, Blue Dream & Lean 2. The "Dark Horse" rapper took to Twitter and Instagram to show off the new cover art and reveal that the tape will be arriving shortly on Feb. 16.
Blue Dream & Lean 2 will be the follow up to his 2011 mixtape, Blue Dream & Lean that helped put him on the map as a solo artist after he split off from Three-6 Mafia, via Hot New Hip Hop. DJ Scream also hosted the first installment.
Fans still await his fourth studio album Pure THC: The Hustle Continues that is slated for release at some point in 2013. His last full length work was 2013, Stay Trippy and before that it was 2012's mixtape Blue Dream & Lean: Reloaded. He released the first single from Pure THC: The Hustle Continues titled "Low" featuring Nicki Minaj, Lil Bibby and Young Thug in August 2014, but there has been no new orginal Juicy material since then.
He recently told Billboard that the album "was pretty much done" and that he would have some familiar names helping with production. "Lex Luger, Sonny Digital and Mike Will Made-It produce on it, but I did a lot too. I'm going to give you that old Three-6 Mafia sound."
Despite not having any full-lengths hitting the shelves in 2014, the Juiceman has been busy on features for the likes of Usher, A$AP Rocky and notably Katy Perry. His collab "Dark Horse" with the Super Bowl halftime performer was nominated was nominated once for Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance, but lost out to A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's "Say Something."
