Earlier this afternoon, Kanye West unveiled his new Adidas shoe, the Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost, at a presentation in New York, which was livestreamed to 50 theaters around the world. During the presentation, he debuted a new song called "Wolves," featuring Sia and Vic Mensa. It will be the first song on his upcoming album, which follows up 2013's Yeezus.
"Don't fool yourself / Your eyes don't lie, you're much too good to be true / Don't fire fight / You're [?] burning, everything's burning," Kanye sings over a minimal, atmospheric beat, accented with wolf howling. "Don't fly too high / You're wings might melt, you're much too good to be true / I'm just bad for you / I'm just just bad, bad, bad for you."
There's no word yet on when the new track will officially become available online.
"Wolves" follows the release of "Only One" and "All Day" off West's upcoming album. West recently collaborated with Rihanna and Paul McCartney on the song "FourFiveSeconds," which they performed at the Grammys, and was also recently featured on Big Sean's latest single "Blessings."
As far news on his Adidas shoe line: 9,000 pairs of Yeezy Boots will go on sale this Saturday, Feb. 14 for the retail price of $350. You can reserve your pair on the new Adidas app. A wider release for the show is set for February 28.
In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, West promised that his latest shoe will eventually be available for anyone who wants a pair.
"I just want people to be safe and patient," he said. "I know you can run up on this 14-year-old kid and take his Yeezys, but just be patient because we'll make more Yeezys. Eventually, everybody who wants to get Yeezys will get Yeezys. Adidas has promised me that because there's so many kids that wanted them, but couldn't get them. And I talked to the heads at Adidas and they said, 'We can make them."
He also dished on what he plans to do next in the fashion world.
"Next season, my focus is going to be doing high school uniforms. Like when I was growing up, kids wanted Jordans. Kids got killed for Jordans. Now that I'm in a position, I'm going to make sure everyone gets Yeezys."
