The world may be coming to an end, but Ariana Grande will be damned if she doesn't get to hold you "One Last Time." This morning (Feb. 16), the NBA All-Star Game halftime performer dropped the new music video for her latest My Everything single, and it's a cinematic clip worthy of any sci-fi movie.
As teased last week, "One Last Time" takes place on an earth that's on the collision course with the Comet Eurydice. Though Grande and her mystery boyfriend/cameraman are in the safety of a car, the pop star quickly dodges out of the vehicle, taking part in some undetermined mission during the last few hours on the planet.
Wearing a sweatsuit, Grande makes her way through a traffic blockade and fighting men before going through various scenes of the world ending. There's an ambulance, a man struggling with cops for a gun, a cuddling family and a TV station, attempting to cover the apocalypse until the signal cuts out, with one minute and 14 seconds left until the end of days.
Not everyone ignores Grande or is even kind to her, as one bearded and seemingly drunk man tries to grab the pop star.
And soon, Grande's final destination is revealed: she wanted to go on a rooftop and spend her last minute on Earth in the arms of the man she loves, before the sky turns from an ominous shade of purple to a blanket of destruction.
