Rihanna, Ed Sheeran & Taylor Swift Get Boosts on Hot 100 as Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' 'Uptown Funk' Holds at No. 1

Don't believe him, just watch. For the seventh week in a row, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's throwback hit "Uptown Funk" dominates the Billboard Hot 100. Despite major publicity and sales boosts from the 2015 Grammys, new singles from Rihanna and Ed Sheeran were able to gain momentum but unable to grab that No. 1 spot.

"Uptown Funk" lost chart points but maintained its top status for the seventh week in a row today (Feb. 18), making it the longest No. 1 single for notable hit maker Mars. As his sixth No. 1, "Uptown Funk" bests his 2012 hit "Locked Out of Heaven," which topped the charts for a mere six weeks.

Despite the Grammys, which seemed like they should have upset the order, the top three songs in the country remain the same, with Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" at No. 2, despite making major gains in sales, claiming the No. 1 spot on the Digital Downloads chart with 314,000 copies. Beneath Sheeran, fellow Grammy performer Hozier holds at No. 3 with "Take Me to Church," which he sang alongside Annie Lennox in one of the most buzzed about performances of the night.

The Grammys did have some impact on the Hot 100 this week, giving Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's new single "FourFiveSeconds" a major boost in sale, lifting it from No. 6 to No. 4. "FourFiveSeconds" saw a major boost in radio play (25 percent_ and sales (44 percent), helping to aid its jump.

The top five is rounded out not by another Grammy performer, but by Maroon 5's "Sugar," which was displaced down to No. 5 by the power of Rihanna.

Beneath the top five, the buzz surrounding Fifty Shades of Grey's movie adaptation helped launch Ellie Goulding's soundtrack single "Love Me Like You Do" from No. 9 to No. 6.

Nos. 7 through 9 are familiar to chart followers, with Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" at No. 7 followed by Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One" at No. 8 and Meghan Trainor's "Lips Are Movin'" at No. 9.

The top 10 is rounded out by a new song not from the Grammys but from a new music video. Swift's latest 1989 singe "Style" climbed to No. 10 this week following the Feb. 13 music video premiere.
