Sky Ferreira and Ariel Pink have released a surprise new version of Pink's "My Molly." They took to Twitter to share the track along with an accompanying video, directed by Grant Singer.
The track dates back to 1999 when Ariel Pink recorded the My Molly EP, which wasn't released until 2006. This updated version gives the song female vocals and a new wave touch on top of the distortion-heavy guitar. The video shows Pink and Ferreira decked in grunge outfits, clowning around a bare, white space with just an amp, mic and guitar. The clip was shot on December 20, 2013 at Foundation Content in Culver City, California.
