Ludacris and his wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue, are expecting their first child together. The big announcement came from an Instagram post on Mbouguiyengue's page showcasing her and Ludacris on the beach, with a noticeable baby bump stealing the attention.
Though not directly acknowledging the baby bump, Eudoxie's caption read "beautiful day on the beach," serving as the official announcement by the couple.
Ludacris and Eudoxie tied the knot over the holidays, two weeks following their proposal announcement. Ludacris shared his proposal announcement the day after Christmas where he proposed in a private plane to Costa Rica.
This will be the first child for the pair and the third child for Ludacris (born Christopher Bridges). According to People Magazine, the rapper won full custody of his 13-year-old daughter Karma and his 15-month-old daughter Cai.
March is shaping up to be an exciting month for Ludacris and his fans. With a baby announcement to kick off the month, Ludacris will end March with his album release, Ludaversal, on March 31. In December, he released a six track EP, Burning Bridges, in anticipation for this upcoming album.
Days following the release of Ludaversal, Ludacris's acting talents will be on display once again for the release of Fast & Furious 7.
In an interview with Billboard, Ludacris thanked Ice Cube for giving him the best advice on pursuing a career in acting.
"Ice cube sat me down one day and said 'Be patient and pick the right roles, as opposed to whatever comes to you.' He said that over time, it's going to pay off. That's exactly the path that I'm on: I'm strategic and selective about everything I do," Billboard reported.
Ludacris is determined to excel in both fields. According to Billboard, Ludacris has released eight studio LPs, won three Grammys and his 11 films have grossed $916.6 million.
The soon-to-be father of three's latest film, Fast & Furious 7, will open April 3.
