Lupe Fiasco played Santa and dropped a new track this morning called "Piru Blues," according to Complex. The DJ SimonSayz-produced track, which didn't make the cut for his last album, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1, explores love and violence on the streets.
In it Lupe raps, "Blood stains on the camouflage jacket / and love pained hands on the fully automatic / she looks into the years of her comrade slash lover / Comcast CSPAN cover warfare rages on the other / sides of the world where the revolution udders / in a language besides brotherly love for the sufferers / it's the sacrifice that touches her."
Lupe is now at work on the upcoming Tetsu & Youth, which comes out sometimes in 2014. Check out "Piru Blues" for yourself here, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
