Madonna to Perform on 'Ellen' for an Entire Week Following the Release of 'Rebel Heart'

Madonna will join her pal Ellen DeGeneres for an entire week on the latter's daytime talk show, Billboard has reported. The Queen of Pop will be Ellen's musical guest the week of March 16 to 20, a week after her new release Rebel Heart drops. As a longtime fan, DeGeneres will most likely sit down with the singer to discuss all the recent happenings in her life.

No word on what Madonna will perform, but a few possibilities include "Living for Love," "Illuminati" and "Ghosttown." Some cool surprises could be Chance the Rapper and Mike Tyson showing up for "Iconic" and Nicki Minaj stopping by for "B***h I'm Madonna." And there is always a possibility for some throwback performances.

Topics of conversation will be plentiful as well. DeGeneres can check in on Madonna's feelings toward album leaks, her upcoming tour and taking a spill during the BRIT Awards.

Rebel Heart marks Madonna's 13th studio effort. It follows her 2012 album MDNA, which took the charts by storm behind singles like "Girls Gone Wild," "Turn Up the Radio" and "Masterpiece." The pop star was able to recruit Minaj and M.I.A. for that album.

"It's almost impossible to approach MDNA without some degree of cynicism, but it's equally difficult to imagine anyone being more cynical about this music than Madonna herself. Unlike previous late-period records in which she had the luxury to indulge in creative tangents and not get too hung up on scoring several hits, MDNA is a record that comes with major commercial expectations," Pitchfork wrote.

The singer seems to be doing fine after falling during a performance of "Living for Love." She spoke to Jonathan Ross about the spill recently, chalking it up to a minor wardrobe malfunction. It was a disappointment for the entertainer, who generally likes performances to be "amazing."

Madonna's Rebel Heart tour kicks off in September. Check out the dates here.
